Welcome to Barnacle Bay. Your home away from home. We are located in the heart of Hampton Beach, right in the middle of the boardwalk. Walk to the beach and all the entertainment, restaurants right from your front door. Barnacle Bay is a 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom apartment. We provide all of your basic essentials including beach gear - beach towel, beach chairs, umbrella and beach wagon included. Spend the day at the beautiful beach and come home and relax in your cozy home away from home.
The Space
Barnacle Bay is a 2 bedroom suite, 1 bathroom suite with two full size beds. Parking is a 2-3 minute walk from the unit. Parking is NOT at the building. If this is a problem for you, please don’t rent this unit. WHAT WE PROVIDE 🛏 Linens & Towels • Full sheet set and comforter for every bed • 1 bath towel and 1 washcloth per guest • 1 beach towel per guest • 3 hand towels 🍳 Kitchen • Essential cookware, bakeware, and utensils for preparing your favorite meals • Drip coffee maker with filters — medium-roast ground coffee provided 🏖 Beach Gear • Beach towel for each guest • Beach chairs, beach umbrella, and beach wagon • Sand toys for the little ones 🧳 PLEASE PLAN TO BRING • Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash • Coffee creamer and sugar • Groceries — food and pantry items are not supplied 📺 TVs are Smart TVs — no cable is provided. Please sign into your own streaming accounts (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, YouTube TV, etc.) to watch, and remember to sign out before you check out.
The Neighborhood
Barnacle Bay is located near the center of the Hampton Beach Boardwalk. It is less than a 950 foot walk to Ocean Blvd where you will find the main boardwalk to everything Hampton has to offer. Please note that this property is located in the heart of Hampton Beach. As such, weather conditions, tides, and other natural events are outside of our control. We are unable to provide refunds, discounts, or other compensation due to inclement weather, flooding, unusually high tides, or related circumstances. The property is located in an area where occasional street flooding may occur during periods of heavy rainfall and/or exceptionally high tides. This condition is caused by drainage limitations and roadway grading on the town-maintained street. While water may temporarily accumulate on portions of the roadway, it has not impacted the property itself or reached the driveway. If standing water is present on the street, guests walking to and from the property should be prepared with appropriate footwear, as conditions may result in wet feet. We appreciate your understanding and encourage guests to monitor local weather conditions during their stay.

House Rules
AGE REQUIREMENT: The primary booker must be 25 years or older and must be staying at the property for the duration of the reservation. Children and families are welcome. Please treat our home like it's your own. Please be courteous to the other folks trying to enjoy their time on the seacoast as much as you. There are two other units in this building. Please try to enjoy your quiet time after 9pm. Pets: This is not a pet-friendly property. Pets are not permitted. Unauthorized animals will result in a $250 deep-cleaning fee in addition to any damage costs. Service animals are always welcome — just let us know before your stay. Cleanliness: Guests should not leave the apartment in a state that requires excessive or deep cleaning ( dirty dishes, soiled floors.) Cleaning fees set by the host are only meant to cover the cost of standard cleaning between reservations. Trash: Trash pickup is Monday and Thursday. Please make sure your trash is in your designated bin(s) and moved out near the road. Guests should put their trash in designated trash receptacles and be mindful of excessive amounts of trash. Damage: Where guests cause damage that is beyond normal wear and tear, we expect guests to inform the host of the damage as soon as possible and work with the host to find a reasonable solution. Guests are expected to pay a reasonable request for reimbursement if they’re responsible for damage, missing items, or unexpected cleaning costs. Approved Guests: Guests should respect the approved number of guests and should ask their host if they’re unsure about the rules for visitors. Disruptive gatherings are always prohibited. NO PARTIES! Please lock the doors when not home and when you leave after your stay.

“Arrivée autonome mais aide requise du couple du ménage, nouveau code requis au final. Distance de marche: rue principale,plage,restaurants, boutiques. Voyage à moto, nous avons aimé le chariot, les chaises, le parasol et serviettes. Petit logis propre et joli; balcon avec deux berçantes :) Chambres petites mais conviennent, serait apprécié des petites commodes pour ranger les vêtements et une tablette dans la salle de bain. Douche spacieuse, très bien. Cuisine équipée; idée ajout de petits plats de conservation, saran'wrap et aluminium. Café en quantité et belle cafetière. Cuisinière et frigo parfaits. Stationnement : à un coin de rue à côté du marais. Période de marées, nous avons eu les pieds dans l'eau salées (1 pied 1/2 facile), flip-flop obligatoire pour traverser la rue devant le logement ! Nous avons eu la permission du couple de l'entretien de stationner les 4 motos devant le logement, une chance les motos auraient sûrement tombées. Très ordinaire et stressante cette situation.”

“We enjoyed our stay for the most part. The place was very clean and nice for Hampton beach. What I didn’t like was the message we received a day prior informing us that the street floods with rain. Had that been made known to us months in advance I would have looked elsewhere. After a heavy rainstorm we had to tip toe against the houses along the street to reach a dry part so we could cross. I wouldn’t have cared so much but my mom who is older found it to be an inconvenience. I understand from the message we received that it was from the way the road is paved, but the streets behind the house also flooded. They were very nice but it was also the first time I’ve had to pay for an early check in. An additional 50 dollars for 2 hours felt excessive. I’ve stayed at dozens of Airbnb‘s and never encountered that. sometimes hosts can accommodate early check-in. Sometimes they cant. but no one‘s ever charged me for it.”
